This man is just amazing! Although he is just about 1.54m tall, a skinny  'M.F.' with a high voice and "extraordinary" looking for many people, his songs with those very meaningful lyrics are fascinating me any time I listen to them. I have never seen anybody else whose concert performance is as powerful as Prince's either and his wide imagination and inspiration which he can reflect to his songs so easyly - though perfectly - brought him to a very special place all over the world. How many artists do you know who perform, arrange, compose and produce their songs on their own??

The diminutive Prince Roger Nelson is a giant, and for me the biggest, among megastars. He has toyed with stardom, mastered it and moved on. He marked his name through the music and film business by virtue of talent and sheer hard work. In 21 years he has released 25 albums, working at such a rate that would put many in an early grave. He is often compared to Micheal Jackson, but though they have similarities, the two stars differ crucially. Micheal Jackson's 26-year solo career has produced only a handful of albums, while Prince's songwriting is so prolific that his studio vaults hold three times the number of recordings featured on his first 15 albums. His incognito work has often made stars of his peers and collaborators; in 1990 for example, a forgotten Prince song called 'Nothing Compares 2 U' became one of the year's most-played singles, and gave Sinead O'Connor sudden international fame.
